So, I wanted to put together a blog post on pieces you can wear with ecru jeans. I’ve always loved white jeans, but I’ve really gravitated towards ecru denim and off white jeans instead of a stark white jean in recent years. I feel like ecru jeans are a little less preppy, and they have a little bit of an edge. But, they’re still a classic color, so they don’t feel trendy.
Here’s Exactly What to Wear with Ecru Jeans
Ecru jeans are really easy to style. So, let’s look at a roundup of items that I love to wear with them across different seasons that I think you might like to wear too!
Raffia Bag or Straw Bag
Okay, in spring and summer, ecru is a go-to color jeans or pants for me. I also think of a raffia bag, straw bag, or something similar as my go-to bag for these seasons! Don’t get me wrong though, this type of bag is perfect to wear with ecru jeans all the way through the fall. These bags are a nice texture against a pair of ecru color pants.
While most of these bags are a natural type of color, I really love this particular khaki green bag with ecru. They’re both kind of muted colors to me and just look nice together. I was recently gifted this bag, and I’m so excited to carry it all spring, summer, and fall!

Button Up Top
Button up tops are classic pieces that go with everything, but I especially love how they look with jeans, whether they’re ecru jeans, classic blue denim, or black. My button up is oversized, and I’m wearing a size 2. I sized down one size!
The fall and winter seasons are also a good time of the year for a button up with ecru jeans. Button ups come in so many different styles, colors, and patterns, you can’t go wrong! Plus, they look nice with any type of shoe, whether you’re wearing a ballet flat, loafers, sneakers, or boots.
Bright Blouse Or Neutral Blouse
Okay, neutrals are my absolute favorite, but I love how a bright blouse looks with ecru color jeans. It’s also easy to wear basic colors like black with ecru. Black and gray are so pretty with ecru or cream color jeans for a monochrome look. This is a classic combination!
Linen Blazer For Spring, Summer, And Early Fall
If you’re looking for a business casual or casual work outfit with ecru jeans, definitely try a linen blazer. Ecru jeans with a linen blazer is a polished and tailored look! Whether you go for a navy blue, black, or classic linen color blazer, it will go with ecru jeans. You also can’t really go wrong with the style and cut of the blazer either, but I prefer an oversized cut blazer with straight leg jeans like I’m wearing below. My exact jeans also come in ecru, and my blazer is linen. I’m wearing a small in the blazer – the fit is really beautiful right out of the box. I didn’t need to have it tailored.
Leather Sandals
I’m still eyeing these leather sandals to wear with jeans and dresses all summer, but I was thinking they’d look nice with ecru or cream jeans too. I’m not sure which sandal I’d wear more, so I’m still thinking them over. But, they’re gorgeous! I paired them here with a short sleeve cashmere t-shirt and also with a linen top. I love to wear linen button ups like this open with a tank top underneath!
Mesh Ballet Flats
I love the contrast of textures when you wear anything monochrome, so if you go for creamy white ballet flats like I have, then mesh is a great option! Plus, they’re super breathable. I also love a fun pop of color to bring out the jeans. Red is everywhere right now, and it’s a good option to be on trend but not take over an outfit! I’ve said it many times before, but ballet flats are a great example of a piece that are classy yet trendy.
These shoes are typically worn in spring, summer, and fall. Classic ballet flats with sock tights are a good option for fall and winter.
