No matter what style you pick, white is the perfect color for spring. It doesn’t give a wintery feeling, and you can choose a natural, breathable material that will keep you comfortable but not hot. You can choose shoes that feel more like spring and less like winter too. So, swap out your chunky boots for your loafers, sneakers, or flats if you want to! I like to wear all of them, honestly! You can also wear a white sweater with a skirt or jeans, which is helpful when you’re getting dressed for the fickle spring weather.

A white sweater is a go-to top for me because you can wear such a wide range of colors with it. Whether you need to layer with a coat or you just want to add a belt for fun, there are so many options. I love to wear my favorite white sweater with a dark belt and shoes. But, a white sweater also looks nice with beige, camel, green, or a bright color. Red ballet flats look so chic with white!

If you love a monochrome look like I do, this is for you. You can style a monochrome white sweater outfit throughout the year. I love this idea for work or for a casual weekend. In the spring and fall, you can wear a trenchcoat, and in the winter and early spring, you can wear a heavier coat.

Cotton and linen sweaters are perfect for summer nights or even some days depending on what you’re doing. They look really cute with white pants! I spend time in Massachusetts in the summer because I have family there, and I’m always surprised by just how chilly it gets at night. I’m from Virginia, so I was not used to needing a sweater in the summer! That has changed now that I’ve spent a lot of time in New England. As someone who loves sweaters, this is just fine with me!

There’s something about the vertical lines in a cable knit sweater that just look nice! Whether you want to appear taller, have a longer torso, or take away focus from your chest, vertical lines on a sweater or top help with it all. I styled this sweater outfit with my favorite pair of straight leg jeans, but you should wear your favorite style of jeans!

Skirt And Cardigan For Fall, Winter, and Spring
Okay, this cardigan is technically called “natural,” but I think if you’re looking for a white sweater, this is a good option. I linked one that is also by Sezane and the same color. I think the difference is the beautiful arm detail on the sweater that’s currently available! This cardigan looks just as cute with jeans, so it’s really versatile.
Work Outfit: White Cotton Sweater And Black Pants
So, I’m obviously wearing navy blue in this photo below, ha! But, my exact sweater comes in white. My sweater and pants are both cotton, and they’re an absolutely amazing price point – well under $100 each! My pants are also available in navy and beige. I honestly love the idea of this sweater in white with any of the pants. They look so polished together. You can wear them with ballet flats, loafers, or even boots. This is perfect for work, church, or any other occasion when you want to feel more dressed up than if you were wearing jeans. My pants also have belt loops, so you can add a belt too!
Light Denim With A White Sweater
If you want to wear light jeans and a white sweater into the spring, these jeans are perfect! I love how the lighter denim makes your outfit feel fresh. Wear these with a cotton sweater and loafers for a transitional look from winter to spring! This entire outfit feels very 90s to me, which I didn’t do on purpose. These just happen to be my favorite light blue jeans, and I like how they look with white. The jeans are comfortable, the perfect length for boots or flats, and they’re a little over $100.

This 100 percent cotton sweater is perfect for spring and summer. The subtle scallop and rib details are beautiful!
