Happy Monday! I hope you’ve had a nice weekend. I was able to relax, which was really nice after a few busy weekends of travel. I made my way over to a local J.Crew to shop some of the pieces I’d seen online that were on sale. Each of the pieces I’ve included below are on sale with code SPRING until the end of the day, April 12, 2022. First up are the boyfriend jeans that I’m wearing in these photos (above and below) – I’m wearing the first pair I linked, but the others are the same jeans in a different wash! These jeans are a little different cut than I normally go for, but I love how comfortable they are. They came with the hem rolled up (as pictured above), and I like them that way, but you can also unroll them if you want (as I did below)! They’re pretty true to size, and they have a little bit of stretch. If you’re between sizes, I would probably size down. I’m wearing a size 27.
Next up is this dress, which is perfect for warm weekends where you’re running errands, or going to lunch or brunch. You could just as easily wear this as a swimsuit coverup. I’m wearing size small because I wanted to make sure it was long enough, but I definitely could have gone with XS – I might still go for an XS so the neck comes up a little higher. I’m a neutral lover, so black and white are my favorite options for this dress, but the other colors are really pretty – and I think the green and orange would be especially fun as a coverup for the pool or a beach day.
Another piece that you can wear in several ways is this skirt. So, first of all, the pattern that I bought is the only color option that is included in the sale… which was fine with me because I love the neutral colors and the fun flower pattern. The real selling point for me was the smocking at the waist. Sorry but who doesn’t love a stretchy waist?! Anyway, I plan to wear this skirt like I styled it here, but it’s another piece that’s perfect for a beach or pool day. The skirt also comes in several other options that are not included in the sale.
Last but not least are these white jeans. I love my white skinny jeans and my boot crop white jeans, but I’ve been wanting a pair with more breathing room for when it’s a little too warm for tight skinny jeans! These are the perfect pair to wear with sandals and a tank top. You can see one way I styled them for warmer weather here.
