Hi there, fashion lover! This is the first year since I started blogging that I will really be able to shop the Nordstrom sale in person and show you my favorite items and how I would style them – I’m really excited.
Before I have the chance to shop in person, I still wanted to show you my favorites. Since there are so many items included in the sale, I’m going to show you pieces I already own that are included and how I’ve styled them before. I will also show you how to style pieces I own that are *similar* to things in the sale – like leather pants, for example. And of course, I will share my favorite picks! I will also update this blog post with anything I purchase from the sale. This blog post might be a little long for some, so if you’re looking for a certain section, feel free to skip ahead by using my menu below!
Before you read on, I just want to say thank you for reading my Nordstrom sale post and considering shopping with my links. I use affiliate links, so I might make a commission if you shop through my links. As always, this comes at no cost to you. I know there are so many people who cover the sale, and I really appreciate you being here! Okay, see below for the menu, or just keep reading!

Pieces I Own & Love That Are Part of The Nordstrom Sale
Okay, first up is this floral top. I wear it all year except for winter. This color combination is included in the sale, and it also comes in a red/white combination and a black/purple combination. It fits true to size, but it is an oversized fit, so if you want it to feel more fitted, I would size down. For reference, I’m wearing an XS. (This is me before pregnancy, FYI)! Click here to see how I styled it a little differently by leaving the top of the shirt untied – there are also buttons, so you can wear it tied at the top or wear it open. The color combination I’m wearing is the first one linked below.
Next is this hat!
My hat in the photo above is something I wear pretty much anywhere and everywhere – weekend errands, lunch with friends, travel, doctor’s appointments.. you get the idea. It’s super easy to throw on and go, but it’s also cute enough to wear with jeans, a top, and sandals or any other pair of shoes. I love how the adjustable piece on the back of the hat is leather, so while it’s a baseball cap, I think of it as an elevated baseball cap!
How I Styled Pieces I Own That Are Similar to My Nordstrom Sale Picks
This section is a selection of items I own that are similar to what is available in the sale, so I’m showing you how I’ve styled these types of pieces before and then linking to the similar sale items! I always hear from my friends that the sale is a good chance to stock up on basics and closet staples. In addition to basics like camisoles, things like leather pants, a checked blazer, a pleated skirt, and boots are all closet staples to me because you can get so many different outfit combinations from each piece.
Besides a pair of jeans (I’m a denim gal. I just love jeans), these faux leather pants are one of my most reached for pairs of pants when the weather is chilly… or cold. I’m wearing them above with chunky boots, but they look just as cute with sneakers and a button down or a sweater. Or, dress them up with heeled booties for a night out. I linked the pants first, but I’ve also linked a few tops and shoes that I would wear them with – everything is included in the sale.
I will miss these pants so much this year when the weather gets colder – they won’t fit me for the time being with a growing bump, but if you don’t already have a pair (or need a new pair), I highly recommend grabbing some during the sale. The color options available are all really cute, too!
I would wear these pants with the below items also included in the sale!
Another closet staple for me is a check blazer (or any blazer, really). While my exact blazer below is from Mango, I found a few blazers that have a very similar look and that I would purchase for myself if I didn’t already have this one. As you can see below, I wore a check blazer with jeans and over-the-knee boots, but I’ve also worn this blazer with a sweatshirt under it and booties for a much more casual look. That’s the great thing about blazers – you can wear them any way you like!
Beyond these blazers, there are a couple other outwear type pieces included in the sale that are similar to pieces I own and wear frequently – shirt jackets! I have a white shirt jacket and a plaid one that I love, and there are two very similar pieces in the sale that I was excited to include in this blog post. See below for how I like to wear mine open with a fitted tank, but I’ll also wear it buttoned up and add a belt to it!
Last but not least are these super cute pleated skirts! I’ve always been a big fan of pleated skirts because you can wear them all year, and if you’ve read any of my blog posts before, you know that I like pieces that are versatile! They are also very bump friendly, so I’ve been wearing them a lot this summer. Anyway, see below for an example of how I would style the skirts included in the sale (linked below) and click here or here to see how I recently wore pleated skirts in the summer.
My Top Sale Picks
There are obviously so many other things included in the sale that I don’t already own or have photos of how I would style, so I wanted to include a few other pieces that I think are worth considering while they’re on sale! Things like denim (there are a lot of really cute jeans in the sale), loungewear, exercise clothes, boots (I always look back at boots on sale and wish I had bought them at the sale price), etc. You get the idea! If you’re looking for outfit ideas, click here to see a few I put together that are not in this post – these are all items included in the sale too.

I linked a few sweaters and tops above, but sharing a few more that caught my eye here!
