Hi there! If you follow me on Instagram, you know I love twillys – thin scarves to wear in your hair, on your handbag, or around your neck (or however you prefer!) They are really lightweight and make a great accessory to any outfit. I love wearing them around my neck in the winter, spring, and fall, but you can really style them year round in some way – especially in your hair.
Today, I’m sharing several of these at different price points and examples of how I style them – keep scrolling to see different ways to style them.
You can shop my pick of twillys right here or at the end of the post.
I love to add a twilly around my neck for a pop of color to an all black outfit. I just tie it loosely around my neck so the bow or knot faces the front. It can also add a girly touch to an otherwise edgy outfit like the one above. I love how the twilly softens the all black outfit and the combat boots.

Another easy and common way to wear twillys is in your hair! As you can see in the two photos above and the first photo in this post, I like to wrap mine around my ponytail. I also wear them as headbands when my hair is up in a top knot. I’m not an expert at styling hair so I haven’t ventured into wearing my twilly as part of a braided ponytail (I wish I could!), but I really love how that looks, too!

Last but not least, twillys are also the perfect size to wrap around a wide brim hat or fedora! You can completely change the look of your hat based on the colors in your twilly. I would also wear a twilly around a straw hat to dress it up.
Thanks for coming by! What’s your favorite way to style a small scarf?
