Ten Corduroy Pants Outfits

Hi there! Isn’t it funny how fashion always comes back around? As an example, I laugh when I wear wide leg jeans when I’m around my parents because my dad will always say, “I used to have a pair of pants just like that when I was a kid!” So, funnily enough, I used to wear corduroy pants all the time when I was a kid! They were so popular when I was growing up.

Now, corduroys have made a huge comeback! While they’re definitely on-trend – you can find them at most any major department store or main street store – I feel like they’re a classic. They have a unique charm in that they have a sense of nostalgia. Today, I’m sharing a roundup of modern and updated ways you can wear these timeless pants. They’re perfect for a casual Friday office look or to dress up for a night out.

These corduroys are such a good option for fall and all of winter because of their rich brown and burgundy color! I love them paired with a light beige, white, or cream top.

The color of these corduroys (click to see them on me) are perfect if you want something versatile for seasons. They’re a nice camel color, so they’re perfect for fall, but you can also wear them in the winter and the spring. Trade your boots for loafers or ballet flats once it’s warmer. They also look nice with gold or silver jewellery.

Brown Corduroy Suit for Work

This brown corduroy suit is so gorgeous together for work or any type of meeting. It’s a good investment because you can wear these pieces together or as separates. I’d also wear the blazer with jeans, and I’d wear the corduroy pants with a turtleneck and a cardigan. That’s three outfits, and there are definitely tons more. The cut of this pant is versatile when it comes to shoes. You could wear them with any shoe, but I like these loafers in addition to the booties below.

Weekend Outfit with Brown Corduroy Pants

I love these brown corduroys so much that I wanted to show the weekend outfit idea I have for them. These pants are just as cute with sneakers as they are dressed up with loafers or booties. Versatility is so important to me when I buy anything! This tissue turtleneck is perfect for layering. I love this cashmere cardigan – I’ve tried it on in store and ultimately purchased the ribbed version, but I think this one is better suited for this look.

Grey Corduroy Pants for Winter

Grey monochrome feels like winter to me. This outfit is so cozy, but you can wear it to work or out for a dinner. I own this coat in camel. Click here or click here to see it on me. The cashmere sweater is one of my most worn pieces in my closet. It will last you for many, many years. Click here to see the grey on me when I tried it on.

I put this look together as a casual day or night outfit. These are the same pants as above, and the coat is also the same. If you’re going to purchase a coat, you’ve got to be able to wear it with most everything in your closet – in my opinion. I would wear this to hang out with my girlfriends, or to go see a movie with my husband. Comfortable, but so cute!

Corduroy Pants Look for Spring

The color of these corduroys is perfect for fall, winter, and spring – they don’t scream cold weather to me, but they’re definitely appropriate for the cold! I like these with gold ballet flats for any season, or you could pair them with light tan flats for spring. When it’s really cold, I typically go for booties.

This outfit would also pair perfectly with the camel corduroys at the top of this blog post if you like the cut of that pair better.

Brown Corduroy Trousers for Work and Weekend

These brown trouser corduroys are a little bit trendy with their front pockets, but I think you can wear them a lot! Brown is my favorite neutral. I love how it’s a little softer than black, but it still goes with just about everything. These are a good work option. But, I picked them to style because you can wear them for a winter party over a weekend and to work on Monday. See the next outfit idea for how I’d wear them over the weekend.

Brown Corduroy Trousers for Work and Weekend: Flowy Blouse and Sneakers

This blouse is so pretty, and it adds a fun weekend vibe to these corduroys. You could also wear this look with the booties that I included above for the work look, so you’d only have to change your top for work!

Okay, this last look I’ve shared before. But, I love this outfit! It’s a great option for when you have plans after the office. I would probably wear flats throughout the day, but these sock booties are work appropriate too. When you wear a monochrome look like this, it’s always good to mix textures! I love the corduroy, cashmere, and faux leather together along with the woven bag.
