Styling This Season’s Trend : A Lady Jacket Blazer
Okay, let’s start with what’s on trend this season. While I typically gravitate towards a traditional blazer and there are many outfit ideas below for those, I also love lady jackets and they’re super popular again this fall. I still consider them a blazer even though they aren’t shaped like a classic blazer. The slightly cropped cut is really flattering. Plus, you can wear them to work or on the weekend. This particular version is a sweater lady jacket, but they also come in pretty tweed options.
I’m wearing last year’s version above, but you can shop this year’s version here. It’s slightly more relaxed, which I love – I own it in navy and white stripes. You can definitely wear this for a travel day too. Since it’s 100 percent cotton, it won’t make you overly hot but it’s a nice layer for a plane or long car ride. Tan Blazer With A Sweater Dress
On the east coast, fall is the best time of the year to wear a sweater dress. They look so cute with a blazer! I wore this monochrome look all the time when I was pregnant. There’s really nothing better than a cozy sweater dress and a blazer when you’re pregnant. I also love this outfit now though. I’ve owned this dress for years, and I always love to wear it throughout the fall and winter. I think this is a classic look that will never go out of style.
I recreated this look with two pieces I’ve also been eyeing for myself. I love the tan blazer I’m wearing (I found this in a Zara store), but I’d like one that’s wool for a little more warmth! While these pieces are not maternity, they would also work if you’re pregnant – so you can recreate this look for pregnancy.
Business Casual In A Tan Blazer And Booties
I put together this outfit idea for the gal who needs an outfit to go from work to fun – my favorite type of outfit! I love how this blue denim looks with the tan blazer and tan booties. The jeans I’m wearing are cut perfectly to wear with a blazer, and I highly recommend them. I’m typically a size 28, but sometimes I’m a 27. So, I tried both. I decided to go with what I consider to be my normal size 28. So, if you’re between sizes, I would size up. They also come in a ton of other colors.
If you’re looking for booties you can wear with jeans, work trousers, a dress, or a skirt, then I highly recommend this pair. I absolutely love the color, but they also come in a few other options! They’re true to size. They’re very easy to walk in, which is nice if you need a realistic heel height like I do. Everything is exact except for my blazer and my bag, which is slightly different!

Okay, this is easily one of my favorite looks – an oversized blazer, your favorite jeans, and a belt. I love this look for work or date night – it’s that chic! I promise you’ll feel super confident in it.

If you have a printed skirt or dress you love, a tan blazer might be the perfect piece to style with it for fall, winter, and spring. Of course, this depends on the specific colors in your skirt, but a neutral, solid blazer balances well with florals without stealing the spotlight from your floral piece. I would go for a solid, neutral top and shoes too.
