Wide-Leg Cropped Pants Outfits

Okay, there are so many different styles of wide-leg cropped pants! Some of them are cut more narrowly and others are flowy. Whichever pairs you love the most, you can wear each style for different occasions.

How to Style Wide-Leg Cropped Pants Any Time of the Year

Versatile Crepe Pants for Work or Fun

Starting off with a versatile pair of lightweight pants from my outfit above! Crepe is one of my favorite materials for pants because you can wear them all year. I love how comfortable they are even when it’s warm outside. I styled this look for spring, but it also works for fall. This outfit could be for work or for something you’re doing on the weekend – that’s my favorite type of look! It’s a good option for church and brunch afterwards! While I went for this hummus color, don’t miss these pants in all of the other colors, too. I love the green, which you can see on me here. I styled them for a night out look.

If you’re wondering about shoes, I think this particular pair of pants goes best with ballet flats or loafers. I probably wouldn’t wear sneakers with these as the cut of these pants is a little dressier than a straight leg trouser. I’m wearing a long sleeve fitted top because I wanted to balance out the flowy pants. In the summer, I would probably wear this with a fitted tee too, but you can also wear a looser fitting shirt as well. This linen tee is gorgeous in person, and it pairs well with any bottoms, whether these crepe pants, jeans, or a skirt.

Slim Wide-Leg Jeans to Wear All Year

These slim wide-leg cropped jeans (wow, that’s a long description of a pair of pants), are one of my go-to pairs of jeans all year. As you can see, they look nice with booties or sandals! The fit of these jeans is impressive, too. Not only are they super comfortable with just the right amount of stretch, they also seem to be the perfect length. They hit right around the ankle bone, so you can wear most any type of shoe with them!

I’ve worn them with sweaters, blouses, and I will wear them with a linen tee this summer. Finding tops to wear with these jeans is easy because they all work! I was also so excited to see they now come in ecru, which is the perfect color to wear this spring, summer, and fall.

This jean comes in lots of different washes, too – some are more casual with a raw edge and I love the pair with the front pockets for a more tailored look.

Black Culotte Pants for the Weekend

These black culotte jeans are a closet staple if you ask me. I always feel like culotte pants are super girly, but the raw hem on this pair gives them a fun edge. They’re also available in some other good color options like blue, tan, and off white. If you opt for a pair in tan or off white to wear when it’s warm, a block heel sandal would be a cute shop option to wear for a dressier look. I think these would be perfect for a date night or girlfriend dinner at the beach with sandals.

Wide-Leg Cropped Loungewear

The wide-leg pant trend didn’t miss loungewear either. I typically gravitate towards joggers for loungewear, but I’ve purchased a few pairs of wide-leg sweatpants to wear around the house that I’ve found to be really comfortable. You can wear these with your favorite tee, a cozy sweater, or a sweatshirt! I recently bought this sweatshirt in blue, and I’m obsessed with it because it is so soft! You can see what it looks like on me here.

Wide-Leg Cropped Work Pants

This style of pant is also work appropriate. Styling wide-leg cropped pants for work is easy because you can wear them with just about anything. I would wear them with a cropped blazer, a cardigan, or just a blouse that you can tuck in.

The last two pairs I linked are chino, so they definitely have a more casual vibe that you can wear to work or for the weekend – just dress down your top to achieve a relaxed look! Chino pants are a good option for spring!

I wouldn’t wear these last two pairs to work since they’re more casual. But, if you love a trend, then these are for you. They’re super on-trend with the color green, which is big again for spring, and the wide-leg crop cut!

I hope you found some ideas for how to wear wide-leg cropped pants throughout the year! Alternatively, if you’re looking for wide leg jeans outfit ideas, check out my post on how to style those!
