Hi there, fashion lover! It’s been a bit of time since I’ve been here, but I’m excited to share this post with you. I recently traveled to London, so I thought I’d share a few outfit ideas for a late spring/early summer trip to London or another city where the weather might be similar, like Paris (depending on the day, of course) or LA! I also included outfit ideas if you’re going on a warm weather trip, so scroll towards the bottom for those!

For a city break in the spring or summer, light layers are always key for me to feel prepared. My favorites are a blazer, cotton jacket, or denim jacket – I especially love a blazer because you can pop it on over a casual day dress to elevate your look for dinner.

Okay, the first outfit below is one I actually wore around all day and for dinner. It’s one of my favorite outfits right now because it’s stretchy and bump friendly! However, it is not maternity, and I look forward to wearing it again after baby arrives. I sized up one size in the top so it is not as much of a crop top (TBH I would’ve done this anyway). You can wear this as a set or separately. I will wear the top with jeans, and I’ve already worn the skirt with a t-shirt and sandals. There are a lot of options for what to pair with each piece because the set will go with many options since it’s chocolate brown. I linked the exact set below and a similar blazer.

Next is this blouse that I love. It is perfect to pair with jeans, and you can wear it tucked in like I did below or wear it untucked for a more casual look. The blouse comes in several color options, and I’m actually impressed with each of them – no matter which color you pick, the blouse will look really cute with white jeans (or shorts) and sandals for summer. Plus, it’s on sale at the time of this blog post!

My blouse is the first color option below – it’s called antique white, but it’s more of a champagne

I wore this dress outfit for an afternoon just walking around and for a dinner. This dress is by a brand I really love. Their pieces are not only high quality, but they are a sustainable brand. I’ve linked my exact dress below and the same dress in a few other patterns. I also shared some other pieces in the same pattern as my dress. I am still eyeing the blazer – it’s gorgeous in person, and I think it would be so fun to pair with jeans and a linen t-shirt.

One more thing about this dress – it is the perfect day to night dress – you can wear it when it’s warmer during the day (and night), or pair it with a blazer or lightweight jacket if the temperature drops, which is what I did below. It was already around 8 pm in this photo!

Same dress but with a blazer

As for this next dress, I wore it so many times this trip! I loved it for grabbing drinks, walking around, and for a nicer dinner (I dressed it up with a blazer and slingback shoes). It’s not a maternity dress, but it’s definitely bump friendly as you can probably see! It has been going in and out of stock, but it comes in black, navy, royal blue, and yellow. One of the best parts is the price – it’s under $50.

If you’ve ever read any of blog posts before or follow me on Instagram, you probably already know I love pleated skirts. I packed two for this trip, and they were perfect for day and night looks like the outfit below. This is what I wore around one day, but at night, just add a black blazer or go for a blouse instead of a t-shirt.

So these are some of the exact outfits I wore on my recent trip to London. It was a little bit on the early side for summer weather in the UK, so I made sure I had layers, layers, layers. They’re essential to any spring or summer trip to London!

While I would still pack many of these outfits for a summer trip to a warmer location (I would just leave my jeans at home!), I wanted to share a few cute outfits you can wear if you’re heading to a beach town or a city where the weather is much warmer!

Let’s start with a few dress outfits that you could wear during the day and/or for dinner. I love mixing and matching different shades of the same color, so I love the different shades of pink below, but you could also pair these dresses with a straw bag – a summer staple!

This white dress below with the cut out is one of my favorites I’ve seen this summer – I included this photo so you could see the cute pattern and scalloping, but if you’re wondering about length, it hits above the knee.

I used the photo of the back of this dress because it is so pretty! The front is also really cute – it has thick straps (as in, not spaghetti straps) and a smocked chest. I really love pairing this type of dress with flat espadrilles, and these espadrille sneakers are a perfect match. You can transform this outfit for nighttime by wearing something with a heel – like these wedge espadrilles. I’m now dreaming about booking a flight somewhere warm after putting these looks together!!

Last but not least are these two dresses – which are very different, so I paired them with different shoes – but I would wear both of them with the same bag.

Okay, if you are looking for something comfortable, casual, and put together to explore in or just head to the beach/pool, I love these matching linen sets – and they’re pretty much everywhere right now. Pair with sandals, espadrilles, or sneakers depending on what you are doing!

Do you have any travel plans this summer? Let me know in the comments! Thanks so much for stopping by!
