Okay, I always think it feels a little silly to shop for fall clothes in July, but who am I kidding, I love fall fashion more than any other season. I always find at least a couple of things that are worth getting ahead of the new season during the Nordstrom sale, which is the reason for this fall fashion blog post right in the middle of summer. Two Outfit Ideas From the Nordstrom Sale
Cozy Sweater and Jeans
The first look is really comfortable, but I think still very cute! You can wear this to a lot of different things in fall and winter, but I bought it with a fall winery trip in mind.
Shop The Look
My white sweater definitely runs oversized, so I sized down one size. I’m wearing it untucked here, but by sizing down one size, you can also wear it tucked in. On the jeans, I’ve been told Mother run big, but the pair I’m wearing fit true to size for me. I’m also linking a similar pair that I tried on and loved. It’s the same cut, but a different brand. I was hoping to purchase that pair in person, but they didn’t have my size. I added those as the first denim link above since they’re fully stocked (at the time of writing, anyway). Right now, my Mother jeans are sold out, but if you are also looking for those, keep an eye out because sometimes there are restocks!
Wrap Sweater and Jeans
The next look I went for is great for any new moms! This brand was the first pair of jeans that I wore postpartum, and I love them now too. You definitely don’t need to be a mom to wear them – I just think they’re super comfortable and forgiving if you’re just getting back to wearing jeans. They are real jeans, but the inside of the waistband is elastic (there’s a normal button and zipper).
Shop The Look
I sized down one size in the jeans, and I took my normal size in the wrap sweater, which is so cute in person! I saw the pink it comes in when I was shopping the sale in person too. The pink is still fully stocked. Both the top and jeans are at a great price point – under $50 and under $60.
