Once you find the right pair, they’re just so easy to style because they go with most everything. I think white pants and white jeans are actually the same when it comes to what to wear with them.

White jeans, white corduroys, and white pants in general are a fresh alternative to blue jeans throughout the year, including the colder months of the year. Okay, I say white, but I also mean ecru, off white, and even natural or oatmeal color pants. While they’re all versatile and work with similar tops, shoes, and accessories, they may seem intimidating to style! So, today, I’m sharing a roundup of items to wear with white pants. Some of these pieces are eye catching accessories, and another is simply a cardigan that will add the perfect final touch to your look!
What Goes With White Pants
White Button Up
If you’re looking for a reliable outfit, this is it! A white button up with white or cream pants is such a versatile and classic outfit. That’s what I love about classic looks – you can wear them pretty much anywhere. I wore this outfit in early spring last year, so I wore sock tights to keep my feet warm. I love the idea of wearing this into the summer with lightweight white pants too. I love my ballet flats all year, and these mesh ballet flats are a great choice for when it’s warm! You could definitely wear this top untucked and open for a super relaxed look. I love to wear it like that with this tank top. Or, you can fully tuck in the shirt and show off your belt! Either way, it will be cute with ballet flats, sandals, loafers, or boots.
Fun Sunglasses
Sunglasses are my favorite accessory. They can totally change the vibe of your outfit, and I often wear mine based on my mood! Anyway, you can pretty much wear any sunglasses with white pants. I recently picked up this pair to add a 70s feel to my outfits, and I can’t stop wearing them. I love that they’re a great price point too. Below are some other favorite pairs in all different styles that I would wear with white pants. I own the first two pairs.
Pastel Sweater
Pastels are such a great option to wear with white in the spring. I love how soft pastels look, so they aren’t too bold of a contrast with white pants.
White or Cream Sweater

Denim Jacket Or Top
A denim jacket is a classic piece that looks so nice with white pants or white jeans! I think it’s just the contrast in the white and denim that look good together. A traditional denim jacket, denim trench coat, or denim blazer are all good options for spring when layers are essential. They work over blouses, t-shirts, or other tops you pair with your white pants! If you’re wearing straight leg or skinny white pants, you could go for a cropped, regular, or an oversized and flowy type of jean jacket. If you’re wearing wide leg pants, I’d probably go for a cropped jacket.
I also love how many denim tops are available right now because I’ve always thought denim looks so cute with white, whether you wear white jeans or white pants. My Tory Burch bag is probably the bag that I carry the most. I received it as a birthday gift from my family, so I also think about them when I carry it. I love when a favorite piece also has sentimental value. Anyway, neutral handbags will obviously go a long way in your closet. Whether you choose a black, brown, grey, navy, or cream bag, each of these options will pair well with white pants. Leather Belt
The right belt can totally transform a look! I love classic leather belts, and I recently picked up the first two below. There’s nothing better than having neutral belts that will work with tons of outfits. But, I also love a fun belt for a pop of color.
Square Frame Sunglasses
These sunglasses will instantly elevate your white pants outfit! White pants always seem very girly to me, so I love the little bit of edge this style of sunglasses gives to any look. The square frame of this particular pair is unique and feels super chic! I went with the brown pair since it matches the majority of my wardrobe, but the black are also beautiful!
Wrap Coat
If you’re wearing white pants during the fall and winter, you might wonder what type of coat to wear to complete your look. I love this wrap coat! The camel and khaki colors are my favorite, and they’ll both pair well with white pants of any cut. I wear this coat so much, and it also travels really well.
Cotton Jacket for Spring
Cotton jackets are an essential for the spring and the fall when layers are key. I’ve been noticing they’re everywhere right now! I think they’d look so cute with white jeans, white pants, or white corduroys.
Bright Tops
These white jeans are my new go-to white jeans for warm weather. They’re going to look so look nice in the summer with a fun, bright top like my striped linen button up that I wore a different pair of white jeans. While I essentially live in neutrals, tops with bright colors pair really well with white jeans or white trousers.
What Shoes To Wear With White Pants
Picking shoes for your white pants outfit depends on a lot – are you going to work, will you be walking a lot, what top did you choose, etc!
Neutral Leather Loafers
But, I do think neutral color loafers are a pretty safe bet for most outfits with white jeans. I’ve been living in this cognac pair since I purchased them a few years ago. Loafer Boat Shoes
Loafer boat shoes are a huge trend right now, and they’ll look great with white pants. While I’ve been a little skeptical of this trend, I recently saw the first pair I linked below in store, and they are really beautiful. I especially love the light khaki color for spring and summer.
Booties
If you are wondering how to style white pants in the fall, winter, or early spring, I love wearing mine with booties. There is something about the contrast of white pants with booties and the blending of seasons that feels chic to me!
Metallic Flats Or Metallic Sandals
Gold ballet flats or silver ballet flats add a fun detail to any outfit. I love the pair I linked below with a cut out detail. They’re perfect for spring and summer with white pants, and they’re a great price! I was gifted this silver pair (see them on me) last year. I wore them a lot throughout the winter, but I am definitely planning to wear them with my white jeans this spring. While metallic shoes are a lot of fun to wear around the holiday season, they’re versatile and you can definitely wear them throughout the year with white jeans.
I also love metallic sandals with white jeans during sandal seasons. You can wear a white top like a linen t-shirt with white pants, and add metallic sandals for a fun detail.
