For the Love of Winter (or Fall!) Whites

Welcome back, fashion lovers! I received a lot of votes from you all to see a post about styling white in the colder months, so here we are! I’ll cover ways to wear blazers, denim, outwear, and shoes and accessories. There are also a few outfit ideas at the end of the post.

Let’s start with white blazers. They are something I wear all year, and I typically wear them with a neutral top and jeans as seen below. This Zara blazer is crepe, so it’s not too heavy to wear during warmer months as well. You could also wear this blazer with navy or black (for the monochrome fans) work pants, or a shift dress and heels. I included a few other blazers below with ideas on how to wear them.

I also wear white jeans all year. You can dress them up with heels and a blazer or wear them with flats! The pair in the photo below are a cropped flare, so I wanted to wear booties that were a little higher than the end of my jeans. I’ve also worn these with ballet flats, a cashmere hoodie, and a teddy coat for a more casual look.

As for tops, there are plenty of neutral sweaters and blouses that make it easy to wear white in the colder months, but I also wear them with a pop of color – like a red sweater, a bright scarf or twilly, or pink boots (like below).

J.Crew jeans, Lafayette 148 blazer, Zara top, and Steve Madden boots (most similar I could find are here, here, and here)

I don’t own any white coats at this point but I’ve seen so many great options this year at all different price points. So, I’m going to share a few of the ones that I like below.

The H&M coat looks oversized to me, so it would be perfect to wear over a cozy outfit like sweatpants and a sweatshirt with boots or sneakers. Or, if you’re not going for that casual of an outfit, wear it over a chunky sweater, jeans, and boots. The Sezane and J.Crew coats are both wool, and I’d say they’re good options for work and the weekend – I love a coat that can be worn everywhere. As for the last option – I’m a big fan of oversize biker jackets and Topshop, so I had to include this one. I would wear it with black or blue denim, a sweater or a long button down (or both!), and combat boots.

There’s no need to leave white accessories laying around until summer – they’re good options all year! I would wear this exact outfit when it’s colder outside except I would be sure to wear my arms in my jacket in the winter months or wear a long sleeve sweater. Here are a few other ideas…

Belts – I love to wear my white belt with a sweater dress or to close an open front coat (like this one.)

White boots – both chunky boots and booties – are very popular this year. I would wear them with jeans and a sweater, jeans with a blazer, or with a midi dress to add a little edge.

Hair accessories – While I have a light gray hat with a white ribbon that I’ve shared here on my blog and on Instagram, I would also wear a white or cream felt or wool hat (like the one I’ve shared below) to brighten up an outfit.

1. J.Crew 9″ high-rise toothpick jean in white 2. Zara wool blend knit sweater 3. Zara straight knit sweater 4. Mango faux leather shirt 5. H&M alpaca blend sweater 6. Sam Edelman Clarem Knee High Boot (I just bought a pair of boots that look like this but they are H&M. I’ll share how I style with white denim once I receive them. Unfortunately, they are sold out, so I did not link them here.) 7. Zara Animal Print Heeled Leather Ankle Boots 8. Zara Split Leather Heeled Ankle Boots

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know how you’re wearing white this year.
